A friend from work referred me to Urban Workout in August 2013 and I have not missed a single session through lack of motivation ever since. I have subsequently referred two others and wouldn’t think twice about singing their praises to anyone else. Urban Workout is hands down the best workout experience and successful training routine I have had in over 15 years.
Gym memberships, aerobics, yoga, pilates and boredom be gone! Urban 40 minute workouts are challenging and motivating, with just the right amount of ‘encouragement’. Great trainers and friendly small groups mean we all keep coming back for more!
I came to Urban Workout Albert Park feeling very unfit and with a tennis elbow. I had never been to a gym before. Andrew and Royden tailored their monthly program to my needs. Three months on and with much encouragement and careful supervision from these trainers I am feeling much stronger and less tired and my tennis elbow has gone. I can highly recommend this studio gym.

Class sizes are small; exercise routines are changed monthly; you have expert and confident direction from Royden and Andrew; the company is friendly; and, most importantly, you have a few laughs and you leave each class feeling really good! At Urban Workout, I now work harder than I ever have. I feel that I can achieve more than I’d previously aimed for. The guys know what motivates me, and tailor my workouts to help me set new goals and meet them. I used to aim for 10ks but now I plan for marathons.
Almost five years ago I joined Urban Workout simply to exercise at a gym and in no time it became a way of life. As a working mother with 3 young children I can honestly say that Urban Workout makes me healthier and happier. I’d be lost without it.
Urban Workout is the only gym I’ve attended where I go because I want to rather than forcing myself because I think I have to. The trainers create a supportive, non-threatening environment and take the time to learn – and remember- about every member. They took great care of me when I was pregnant and when I was recovering from a Caesarian – tailoring special programs and closely monitoring my form and progress. I look forward to going every week.
I love Urban Workout! Andrew and Royden are very professional, enthusiastic and encouraging. The environment is very friendly, relaxed and unpretentious. And the benefits of a fitter and healthier body and mind are enormous.
